HomePrivacy Policy

Given Finance Pty Ltd (trading as Lendology, ACN 624 144 501) is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Information we collect

We collect personal information that is reasonably necessary to provide mortgage broking services, including: your name, contact details, date of birth, employment and income details, financial information (assets, liabilities, expenses), identification documents, and property details relevant to your loan application.

How we collect information

We collect information directly from you when you enquire about our services, complete an application, or communicate with us by phone, email, or through our website. We may also collect information from third parties including lenders, credit reporting bodies, employers, and other referees you authorise us to contact.

We use your personal information to: assess your borrowing capacity, identify suitable loan products, prepare and submit loan applications to lenders, communicate with you about your application, comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, and provide ongoing service after settlement.

Who we share information with

We may share your information with: lenders to whom we submit applications on your behalf, our aggregator (Loan Market Group), credit reporting bodies, valuers, solicitors/conveyancers involved in your transaction, and government bodies as required by law. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

How we protect your information

We store personal information in secure digital systems with access controls. Paper documents containing personal information are stored securely at our office. We take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify personal information when it is no longer needed for any purpose for which it was collected.

Cookies and similar technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies (such as localStorage) to support site functionality, understand how visitors use our pages, and measure the effectiveness of our advertising. These technologies load automatically when you visit the site.

The technologies we use include:

  • Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager - collect anonymised data about page visits, interactions and traffic sources so we can understand how visitors use the site and improve it.
  • Google Ads measurement - records when a visitor who clicked a Google ad goes on to book an appointment or make an enquiry. This helps us understand which advertising is useful and allocate our budget accordingly. Google may set its own cookies for this purpose.
  • Meta (Facebook) Pixel - measures the effectiveness of advertising on Facebook and Instagram. Meta may set its own cookies for this purpose.
  • Site functionality - we use localStorage (a browser storage mechanism similar to cookies) to remember your chat session and to carry advertising measurement data across pages within a single visit.

Third parties including Google and Meta may set their own cookies on your browser when you visit our site. We do not control how those third parties use their cookies. You can learn more at Google's cookie policy and Meta's cookie policy.

You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block all cookies, block only third-party cookies, or clear cookies when you close the browser. Blocking cookies will not prevent you from using the site, but some interactive features (such as the live chat) may not remember your session. Instructions for managing cookies are available in your browser's help documentation.
